About Our Floors:
When choosing a dance studio, it is very important to look at what type of dance floor is used. Dance is a very high energy, physical activity which can put excessive amounts of stress on a dancer’s body. Concrete is non-energy absorbent, and when the energy used to dance is returned back to the body, injuries such as shin splints, back and knee problems, fatigue, strains, and broken bones can result. A good floor can help prevent injuries related to this stress. At Pure Energy Dance Productions, we are proud to have professional floating floors from Stagestep Flooring Solutions. The same flooring is used by the Joffrey Ballet School, the American Tap Dance Foundation, Starpower National Talent Competition, Revolution Talent Competition, and many others in the dance industry. These highly regarded floating floors are made with 3/4 inch of high density cross-link foam which provides both maximum shock absorption and resilience. This absorbent sub-floor is critical in providing a safe and shock-absorbent environment to prevent injury of our dancers. Over the absorbent subfloor, Pure Energy has marley-type flooring, which is known as the ‘ultimate stage and dance floor’. Marley-type flooring is very tough and durable, and is made of a slip-resistant vinyl. The combination of the floating subfloor and marley-type surface provide the safest environment for our dancers, while still allowing for optimal performance.

We would love to host your dancer’s next birthday party at Pure Energy Dance Productions. Birthday party packages can be customized by you to include dance lessons, games, story time, and crafts.
